Conditions of use of the Cathy Hopkins
Welcome to the Cathy Hopkins website
This is the boring part where I have to tell you a few rules about how you can use the Cathy Hopkins site.
You can look at most parts of the site without registering but if you want to register for the newsletter then you will be asked to tell me your name, email and age (including whether you are 12 or over). If you are younger than 12 then you must have your Mum or Dad or guardian’s permission to join the Cathy Hopkins website. You must be truthful here – no lying! If you are younger than 12 and do not have your Mum or Dad or guardian’s permission I’m sorry but I can’t make you a member of the Cathy Hopkins website. If you tell me you do have their permission, I may check this, and if I find out you don’t have their permission then I’m sorry but I will end your membership of the Cathy Hopkins straight away.
If I give you or you choose a username and password for the Cathy Hopkins website, you must keep these secret from everybody else – that way, there is less chance of somebody pretending to be you when they use the site.
§ I sometimes make downloads available on the site (such as fun wallpapers for your computer or printable bookmarks). Always speak to your parent or guardian before downloading these things and make sure they are happy for you to download them to your computer.
If you send me something I like via the site or by email – for example an answer to a competition question – I might want to show everyone else. By writing to me or sending
things to me, you and/or your Mum or Dad or guardian are agreeing that I can use what you’ve sent to me (or part of it) in any way I want to and for as long as I want to (for example I might put it up on this site, or on another related website (such as the Million Dollar Mates microsite) or I may even print it in a book). You can still do whatever you want with the stuff you send me it’s just that you agree I can use it too. If you don’t want me to do this then please don’t send things to me.
Remember to check with your Mum or Dad or guardian before you send me anything and ask them if it’s ok.

This site is made available to you by me, Cathy Hopkins, the author of the Million Dollar Mates books. The material on this site (including the pictures, words and downloadable content) is owned by me, Cathy Hopkins, or licensed to me (i.e. I have obtained the rights to make the material available on this site.)

You are not allowed to copy, reproduce, download, broadcast, post or transmit any of the material on this site elsewhere and you agree not to adapt, alter or create other material from or using any of the material contained in this site or use it for any other purpose other than for your personal, non-commercial home use. Whilst I try my best, I cannot guarantee that the site (or any part of it) will always be available when you go online or that access to the site will be uninterrupted or free from errors – my site changes regularly. Whilst I try my best to make sure that the site and the material on it are accurate and up to date, this is not always possible. The site and the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons relating to me, my books (or to any other person’s products and/or services), are provided for information purposes only and on an “AS IS” basis.
